Article Marketing: Building Quality Backlinks

 

Article marketing is a great way to build backlinks to your site. The more backlinks you have to your site, the better. Furthermore, its not just the amount of backlinks you have, its also the quality of those backlinks. Google, for example, uses what is called PageRank. This is a link analysis algorithm that determines the importance of a website or web page. When submitting your content in article directories, always hyperlink back to your site. When linking from your site to other sites, try your best to link to sites that have a PageRank of 4 or higher.

As you can see, article marketing can be very powerful. The number one most important thing any webmaster needs to survive online is traffic. This is one of the best ways to generate free targeted traffic to your site. I know some of you are saying I am not an author. What would I write about? My advise is to pick something you are passionate about and do some research on that topic. Then just start writing about it. Write like you would be talking to someone.
